Welcome to Classic Icom

ImageWelcome to the second incarnation of what was originally the icomclassic.com site, that name has been poached so we simply turned it around, this site and its contents would not have been possible without the kind permission of frank W3UHF who had the original idea for the icomclassic site, due to other commitments frank decided to let it go, after just over a year I happened to be browsing an offline copy that I use from time to time as a reference and thought that it was a shame that the resource was no longer available so I e-mailed frank and asked his permission to use the content from the previous site on this new one, and so classicicom.com was born.

ImageI hope to follow on the great work that frank did in resourcing much material for the original site, and I would ask that if you have anything you think may be of use to the new incarnation, whether it pictures of your classic ICOM shack, fixes, diagrams, tips, copies of old literature/flyers, manuals etc etc then please dont hesitate to send it to me, I would like to see the site grow much as our freinds in the Yaesu world have done with their Fox Tango site, which has become a fantastic resource for all things to do with Classic Yaesu equipment
